In my opinion, I think 3D movie is still just a gimmick and there are so many times that I have motion sicknesses for 3D movie watching, so that makes me not-so-really-into-3D-technology-kind-of-guy, but I also have a Playstation 3 that features 3D technology, and there are so many times that I want to see how will they be in 3D (but with the big investment, I had to skipped). As a Prime member and Netflix, I have to say Amazon Instant Video has a better picture quality (depends on your internet connection, mine is not so fast), while with Netflix, I have to wait a while to get the HD quality but with Amazon Instant Video, I can have the HD quality at the moment movie started, and I think Amazon has a slightly newer premium movies (at the moment you can watch MI3 while it is not yet available on Netflix). In contrast, Netflix comes with a variety of choices in term of platform, you can watch Netflix on IPad and PS Vita, while it is quite limited on Amazon Instant Video, but on the other hand, Amazon Instant works superbly on Kindle Fire.
