I think before getting choose between this two you have to ask yourself : How far will you go for your home theater system ? Playing from a source like Blu-ray player or internet streaming player can provide obviously better quality in terms of audio and picture quality. If you are thinking about expanding your home theater in the future which means getting HD-AVR, 7.1 or 5.1 channel speaker set and perhaps console gaming. Buy an internet streaming player is obviously a smarter choice. But if you are not really into audio&video, buying internet HDTV is obviously a better choice.
